With some regularity, our guests ask about proximal golfing options. So, here are a few…

First, less than 30 minutes from Big Ridge and open to the public, there’s Sapphire National Golf Club.

There’s also Red Bird Golf Links, which is just 20 minutes from Big Ridge. It’s a nine hole course and open to the public.

Trillium Links and Lake Club is just 15 minutes from Big Ridge.

There are several private, world-class courses nearby, such as Mountaintop Golf Club, home to a Tom Fazio designed course. Mountaintop also boasts luxurious amenities like a fine-dining restaurant, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a beautiful resort style swimming pool, tennis facilities, member lodging and much more. We’d be remiss to not mention Wade Hampton Golf Club, the beautiful, members only club in Cashiers. Like Mountaintop, it’s nearby, and it really offers the total package.
