No. Big Ridge is a non-equity club, not a timeshare. There’s no ownership stake, no resale pressure, and no long-term commitment. You simply pay a flat monthly fee and enjoy your stays when you like.
Memberships are one year, then month-to-month after that. If you decide after your first visit that Big Ridge isn’t the right fit, we’ll waive the new-member commitment and cancel your membership.
Your monthly membership fee doesn’t begin until the date of your first visit. You can join now and start reserving dates right away.
You can reserve dates up to one year in advance.
Each reservation can be between two and nine nights.
Yes. Membership includes use of the Big Ridge fleet on nearby Lake Glenville during the summer season.
Yes. Members can share their stays with close friends or family — just let us know who’ll be visiting. You can even add them as guests in your reservation so everything’s ready when they arrive.
If you join Big Ridge and decide after your first visit that it’s not a fit, just let us know. We’ll waive the new-member commitment and cancel your membership — no hassle, no hard feelings.
We feel so lucky to have found Big Ridge as a home away from home in the mountains of North Carolina.
A few weeks ago, we started two hives in the garden right by the greenhouse. So far, they seem pretty happy. This year, they're in the building mode.
