Honey
I can’t believe this worked. It’s miraculous. Thank you to our bee advisors for making this possible. They had tempered my expectations, as new beekeepers often don’t have anything at all to harvest in their first year, so our 28 pounds of sourwood honey is more than I’d hoped for.
Our family reports that it is the most amazing honey ever.
We don’t have enough to start selling it, but we will be leaving our members a small jar upon their arrival. If the bees survive the winter (big if!), our 2027 season production should be much bigger.
